Recruitment, Assessment and Personnel Selection

A Company is know by the people it keeps. Every organization is a mini global village. Its work force is made up of a unique combination of personalities, ethnic and religious backgrounds, cultures and traditions, socio-economic backgrounds and languages, working towards a common goal.
Every manager has to be a mini United Nations minister to work in this background, and every person hired has to be someone who can contribute positively to this setup, not only in terms of productivity, but also in terms of emotional and personal stability.

While organizations have been focusing on recruiting individuals who have been the top achievers academically, or who have a degree from a reputed college, or through their own achievement tests, what they fail to recognize is that an intellectually superior person may or can be the most inept when it comes to working with others, and an average person may or can display the greatest wisdom. It is therefore the combination of IQ and emotional intelligence that is the hallmark of an ideal candidate.
Our diagnostic tests help an organization select the best person for the job instead of one who will 'just do'. This minimizes the possibility of a costly 'near miss' and its attendant effects on morale and overall performance. In addition, our tests also help in selecting and evaluating present employees relevant to training, promotion, transfer and reassignment.

Personality tests:
They provide a potential employer with an insight on how well a candidate can work with other people, how well he/she can handle stress and whether he/she will be able to cope with the intellectual demands of the job.

These tests quantify personality characteristics like enthusiasm, motivation attitude and general work style and job fit.

Aptitude and ability tests and achievement test:
These are designed to assess intellectual performance

Depending on job requirement, higher or lower proportion of the above is administered.

E.g.     Jobs that require handling figures, numeric reasoning will have a higher proportion, where as information technology jobs, will have a higher proportion for ‘abstract reasoning’.
