| Introduction |
|
This section of the school caters to those children who cannot cope in a normal school, either because of learning problems or because they are intellectually slow. These children cannot cope in main stream education institutions and are also too intellectually advanced to be placed with mentally handicapped children.
Our Purpose:
The purpose of the school for slow learners is to develop sufficient academic skills and abilities so that the child can be reintegrated into a main stream school.
The school also offers a program wherein students progress at their own rate and ability.

Academics Services: |

The school encourages each child to attain academically to the best of his ability. Special teaching materials, aids, games, books, models etc are all used to make learning easy, interesting and fun for the children.
Children are grouped according to their mental and chronological age, but at the same time, each child works at his own pace and level of competence.
Focus:
To help the student reintegrate into a main stream school. Subjects offered include English, Urdu and Mathematics. Apart from the 3 subjects, education is also imparted in
daily living skills. The ability to cope effectively with day to day experiences, as well as to function effectively in society and contribute to it.
Money handling skills:
The ability to handle money independently, not just for purchase, but also in planning financial progress and goals.

| Vocational Services |
| Vocational
training is imparted to the students according to their ability
and interest. The focus is on teaching a skill whereby the individual
can earn a living and become economically self-sufficient. Special
arrangements are made to find self-employment and in / out house
employment. IBP is proud to employ most of the trained students
in IBP’s catering department, as sports teachers’ aids and receptionists’ aid. |

curricular activities
Sports
Sports and physical activities are part of the school regimen.
Each day starts with physical exercises. The school contains
a tennis court, basketball court, jogging track and other facilities.
Training for Special Olympics is provided. Tae Kwondo & skating are part of the currriculum. |

| Music
& Dance Most of the ‘Special Children’
have an inclination towards music. IBP is therefore training
the students to play musical instruments like flute and drums
and working towards forming its own school band. Synchrony
is taught with music & movement. |
 |

Extra curricular activities are held after school hours |
Religious
Education
Ba- Jamaat Namaaz-e-Zohar is offered by every child. The children
do wozoo to offer their prayers on daily basis. Islamic way of life
is practiced. Different Ayats are also taught.

Facilities
Lunch facilites
Being a full day school, a mid-morning snack with a glass
of milk is served to the students. Beside this, a well-balanced
meal consisting of main dish and sides are also served. Fruit is served
everyday and dessert is served twice a month
