THERAPEUTIC SERVICES

Our team of experienced speech and language pathologists works closely with clients and their families to develop and coordinate treatment and goals.

Speech & language therapy

We offer personalized and effective speech and language therapy services to individuals of all ages. Our goal is to facilitate success in each individual’s ability to communicate. Our multi sensory sound labs include vibrating floors, luma sound lights, digital percussion equipment, as well as specialized computer programs for building language and communication skills.

Occupational therapy

The Department of Occupational Therapy promotes health, wellness, productivity and quality of life by teaching skills and functions essential for a productive, satisfying and self sufficient life. Our latest imported equipment is specifically designed to improve vestibular integration, strengthen muscles, develop joints and body alignment.

Why would benefit

  • People with physical disabilities: due to such medical conditions as stroke, head injury, spinal cord injury, hand and upper limb injuries, burns,orthopetics injuries, and sports or repetitive stress injuries.
  • Children and infants: with developmental delay, intellectual disability, handwriting difficulties, autism, attention, and behavioral problems, learning difficulties, neurological conditions e.g. cerebral palsy and orthopedic conditions.
  • Geriatics or older patients with: Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, and physical disabilities such as arthritis.

The focus of our occupational therapy program is to promote social and personal independence. Our therpists work with clients in such areas as:

Equipment:
We process latest imported equipment specifically designed to improve vestibular integration, strength muscles and develop joints and body alignment. These include standers / walkers, positioning equipment, Swiss therapy balls, rehabmats, orthopedic equipment, ambulation equipment and electro therapy equipment.

Our team includes skilled experiened professionals with an in-depth knowledge of human growth and development, with specific emphasis on the social, emotional and psychological effects of illnesses and injury.

Most of the ‘Special Children’ have an inclination towards music. IBP is therefore training the students to play musical instruments like flute and drums and working towards forming its own school band. Synchrony is taught with music & movement.


Physiotherapy

The Department of Physiotherapy gives people the opportunity to regain control of their lives. Many patients who have suffered for years with chronic pain and impaired functionality are able to find dramatic hope and recovery.

The focus of our physiotherapy program is to improve the individual’s quality of life by alleviating pain and increasing his tolerance for activity.

Our physiotherapy unit uses imported state of the art equipment including gait trainers, walkers, positioning equipment, Swiss therapy balls, orthopedic equipment, ambulation equipment and electro-therapy equipment.

Counseling

Through counseling and psychotherapy, our therapists help individuals cope with educational, adaptive, social, behavioral and emotional problems in a caring and secure environment.

Behavior management
IBP offers an extensive behavior management program for those children who show behavior problems, discipline problems, aggressive or destructive behavior, obsessive compulsive tendencies, fears, anxieties etc.
